Green Hours presents:
Mădălina Ioana Petre Jazz Quartet – Joy Spring
Mădălina Ioana Petre – vocals, asalatos
Alex Man – guitar
Michael Acker – double bass
Gabi Matei – drums
Mădălina Ioana Petre returns to the Green Hours stage in a quartet format, joined by renowned musicians from the Romanian jazz scene.
The concert, titled Joy Spring, marks Mădălina’s return to classic jazz after a period away from the genre, and presents a repertoire of standards, ballads, and blues pieces.
The four musicians will celebrate spring—symbolizing return and rebirth—bringing all the elements of the season: the excitement of reunion, the energy of new beginnings, the freshness of love, and the joy of living intensely in the moment.
Joy Spring is a sonic journey with a unified message. The concert creates an intimate and sincere atmosphere, where jazz is played simply and closely, allowing emotions to emerge naturally.
